The man of the Midi does not lie, he deceives himself. He does not always speak the truth but he believes he speaks it.
Only God knows that. He is the only one who knows. He is only one who will know. And he is the only one who does know.
He who does not know what the world is, does not know where he is. And he who does not know for what purpose the world exists, does not know who he is, nor what the world is. But he who has failed in any one of these things could not even say for what purpose he exists himself. What then dost thou think of him who [avoids or] seeks the praise of those who applaud, of men who know not either where they are or who they are?
Speak roughly to your little boy
and beat him when he sneezes!

2084. He that does not speak Truth to me, does not believe me when I speak Truth.
A good traveler is one who does not know where he is going to, and a perfect traveler does not know where he came from.
He who knows the truth and does not speak it is a miserable coward.
