Diane Arbus цитата: I tend to think of the act of photographing, generally …

My favorite thing is being able to travel around the world and perform for my fans. I think I’ve lost 80 percent of my hearing. I definitely have very loud fans.

I’ve been in the business since I was 16, so I’ve had a 14-year career. I’ve always had acting in my blood. Doing this, whatever it is, was something I was drawn to since my earliest memories. Ironically, I lived in Hollywood, but never understood that all it took was getting an agent and being persistent.

I’ve never acted my age and I never will. It’s just the way I’ve always been.

I do not know where I am going. But I am quite weary enough of where I’ve been.

Strictly speaking I wasn’t there. Strictly speaking I believe I’ve never been anywhere.

I used to think that I could never lose anyone if I photographed them enough. In fact, my pictures show me how much I’ve lost.

…I act like a hopeful person, but I think that hope is based on having zero expectations. I’ve never expected anything out of life, so I’ve never been disappointed…

I think it's my adventure, my trip, my journey, and I guess my attitude is, let the chips fall where they may.

The particular qualities and intentions of photographs tend to be swallowed up in the generalized pathos of time past.

My favorite thing is to go where I've never been.
